I actually chose to buy this at Walmart because it was priced about $6 cheaper. My daughter just turned 4 and got a ton of Barbies so I figured I would try these out. We already have one of those collapsible Barbie holders and it is a total piece of junk so we needed to try something new. This is very cute and I have seen no problems with the plastic being weak. It holds 8 Barbies although it is a tight fit and the 3 compartments hold quite a few dresses, shoes, and brushes. It is difficult to open and close so my daughter brings it to me to do those for her which is the reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. Overall, it does it's job for the price.

I bought this on the internet sight unseen. I think if I had seen it in person I would have passed. It is nice thick plastic but the lip that is supposed to act as the latch is worthless. Back in my day we had vinyl cases with a flip latch that held. Inside only holds 4 dolls and the compartments do not stay closed.

My daughter got a Barbie doll house and doll with clothes and accessories. This container is sturdy and holds lots of stuff.

We gave the trunk to my grandaughter for Christmas. (She is 5) and she love it because of the 4 different compartments:
1-clothes- 2-accesories - 3-hats and shoes -4- barbies.
The problem is that the compartments are very small and can hardly keep more than 3 sets of clothes and 3 barbies. My grandaughter have 6 so it's a complicated task. Way to small.
The other inconvenient is the quality of the trunk. After 2 weeks the top part keept falling from the hook making impossible to closed the trunk. My poor grandaughter keep coming to us to fix it.
I still think is a cute present and a very good idea, but the quality should be better and they should not promoted for more than 3 barbies.

Before Christmas this trunk was priced at $38.00 so I ordered it believing the advertizement. It was supposed to hold 8 dolls. There are only slots for 3 dolls. The quality of this product dissappointed me greatly. It is cheap plastic and doesn't close and stay closed properly I believe it was misrepresented and I am very unsatisfied.
