This was bought to keep my dolls in and the comparments on the top are perfect for the shoes/purses and other little items that always get misplaced. It is durable enough for my 2 year old to push around with. I'm satisfied and will buy another for my neice.

I had big plans for this case to be the ultimate storage solutions for my daughters' Barbies and all the accessories. The product photo implies the Barbies are able to be stored standing up in the case. There are no individual compartments or dividers and the main compartment ultimately seems like a big pink bin to throw Barbies into. I think the top two compartments will store small parts well. Just hoping the girls remember to close it well before accessing the main compartment and it all flying everywhere! I've only had it a day so can't yet attest to the durability. Everyone of course loves pulling it around the house!

First of all, just let me say I can't believe this is selling for about sixty dollars here on Amazon! I purchased mine at a local Target for about 25 dollars. There were only two left, and I made sure to snag the one without the scratches. ~he he he~ It's pretty sturdy. Although there are storage compartments for the accessories, I find they aren't big enough to accomodate all of them (hence the four stars). Over all, I'm pretty pleased with my purchase. Now, if only I can get my daughter to remember to put the Barbies "in" the bin and not stack them on "top" of it! *siiigh*

I bought this case for my five year old daughter who has a whole play room devoted to her barbies! She has 2 huge barbie houses and 1 castle. She has so many barbies I didn't know what to do with them. When this case arrived I was a bit disapointed as the picture does show the barbies standing up inside the case so one would think there are slots for the barbies to go in, well there isn't. It is just one big open space. I like to teach my daughter the importance of taking care of her toys and belongings, but with this case it leaves the option of them just throwing the dolls in there. It is a large space. I decided to use this for all of her small accesories as I have them divided up in plastic baby food containers that I cleaned and saved from her baby brother. I put a picture on the top to show what goes in each container (shoes, purses, lamps, etc..). It is a was a great way for her to learn objects when she was younger and makes clean up a breeze. I posted pictures. Also the picture amazon shows looks like the case has colorful pictures of barbie on it, well its just flimsy cardboard covering that comes off when you open the case so I saved images off of the net and taped them on with clear duct tape to decorate the case a bit!
